Making a 3D China Map

This week we made a 3D china map. Ms.Cosel called up tables (or communities) one by one and we made mini mountains out of clay. Mt. Everest was 4 in., the Himalayan range was 3 in, and the Da Hinggan range was 1/2 of an inch.We added texture to the mountains and valleys and plains.We also painted it. Mountains were brown, rivers were blue, the deserts were yellow and the forests were dark green. We added a key to the map too. It was fun!
