Our  class was having an auction. An auction is when you raise your number and who ever has their number raised the last wins and gets what the auction person said you get. Robin said it was fun because we finally got a chance to spend our money from our bank account.Logan likes how it starts at a dollar and goes on. For instance Maria won no homework for a week - same with Aidan. Curt and Olivia won the teacher’s chair for a day. Jacob won a sharing for 10 minutes. Adam won drawing on the white board for a week. We are really exited because we have another one next week!

This week we made a 3D china map. Ms.Cosel called up tables (or communities) one by one and we made mini mountains out of clay. Mt. Everest was 4 in., the Himalayan range was 3 in, and the Da Hinggan range was 1/2 of an inch.We added texture to the mountains and valleys and plains.We also painted it. Mountains were brown, rivers were blue, the deserts were yellow and the forests were dark green. We added a key to the map too. It was fun!
